WUI Clear: Verified Wildfire Resilient Property

About

Hardened. Verified. Insured.

WUI Clear was built in Northern California's fire country to solve one specific failure in the wildfire economy: homeowners do the hardening work and get no credit for it, because nobody their insurer trusts ever wrote it down.

The platform is a neutral verification layer connecting four parties who need each other: homeowners who need to stay insured, Certified Wildfire Mitigation Specialists whose independent assessments make records trustworthy, licensed contractors who do the work, and the carriers and FAIR Plan that price it. One standardized record moves through all four, mapped to Insurance Code §2644.9 and the Safer from Wildfires framework.

Four principles are not negotiable:

No self-reporting, ever

Every record is created and verified by an independent certified specialist on the property.

Assessment never sells construction

The specialist who signs your record does no work on your home and takes no commission from those who do. That independence is the entire reason the record carries weight.

The record outlives the transaction

Your compliance record persists with the property, stays current through verification dates, and transfers when you sell.

No preferred vendors

Hardening and suppression providers compete on equal footing. The platform verifies work; it does not steer it. Technology partners, including FireRoofs, participate under the same rules as everyone else.

WUI Clear's assessment technology is powered in part by FireRoofs, and its human judgment is powered entirely by certified specialists. We are based in Sonoma County, serving the communities that know why this matters.
