Terms of Service

The service. WUI Clear is a platform that connects homeowners with independent Certified Wildfire Mitigation Specialists and licensed contractors, and produces standardized mitigation documentation. WUI Clear is not an insurer, a public adjuster, a law firm, or a construction company, and does not itself perform assessments or construction.

No outcome guarantees. Compliance records and submission packages are documentation. Insurance decisions, including pricing, discounts, renewal, reinstatement, and appeals, are made solely by insurers and the FAIR Plan under their own rules. WUI Clear makes no guarantee of any insurance outcome.

Professionals are independent. Specialists and contractors on the platform are independent businesses responsible for their own licensure, insurance, and work. Verification by a specialist reflects that professional's judgment against the documented scope.

Payments. Project funds are committed at award and released against verified milestones. Platform fees are disclosed at the time of the transaction they apply to.

Acceptable use. No misrepresentation of property conditions, credentials, or identity; no misuse of blind bidding; no scraping or interference with the service.

Directory listings. Professional directory listings are compiled from public sources for informational purposes and corrected or removed promptly on request from the listed party.
